It’s been said that the flapping of a butterfly’s wings can cause anything from hurricanes to stock market falls. That’s the premise author and speaker Andy Andrews presents to us in this book. Using examples from history, Andrews shows how the actions of one person can have a trickle-down effect throughout time.
I’ll be honest; I’m not a fan of gift books. This one retails at $14.95, which seems a little high for a book that takes about fifteen minutes to read. Apparently, it’s Andrews’ most requested story when he speaks, but I’m just not sure there’s enough material for a book. On some pages there are only a few sentences, while other pages just have illustrations on them. In my view, he might have been better off putting together a collection of stories and including this one in that collection. Perhaps then it might be worth the price.
